砖屋再生 – 从拼接变融合/Brick House Reborn：From Montage to Mergence
在1960年代，砖构造为当代住宅主要建造材料。时至今日，这些传统砖造平房大多随着都市计划而被拆除，而少部分未被拆除的也多伴随着被损坏、杂物堆积、植物进驻等情况，修复也是以便宜的钢构铁皮系统缝补，原本传统砖造房屋的样貌已不存在。设计先以还原传统砖造街屋层层墙面之系统，观察砖构造及与不同异物的拼接方式和细节，试想多种建筑策略让人经历新旧，试图在保留原传统砖造房屋韵味的同时，空间与新旧系统对话，延续住宅机能。
In 1960s,brick structure became the major material in architecture. In nowadays, these traditional bungalows are mostly removed as a result of urban renewal. Only a little of them exempted from being removed, while most of which are forgotten because of passing away of the hosts. These house are mostly destroyed, accumulated with junks or occupied by flora. Even though someone renovated them, who mended with inexpensive sheet iron system, the original appearance of brick house was no longer existed.Therefore, restoration of traditional appearance of brick house and street house was my design’s major purpose. I observed the specialty of brick and the way of montage between different materials. With plenty of architectural strategies, people could experience modern and tradition. Moreover, inserting the dwelling mass in the modern and ancient walls could keep the rhyme of traditional house and make conversation with original system. By experience the modern and traditional spaces, lasting its dwelling function.
