都市街道生活再造設計策略 -以台中市舊城中區為例 Reconstruction design strategy of urban street life “A case study of central district Taichung
全球都市快速發展所造成的都市擴張現象，由於原有的城區商業向外轉移下，人口與就業機會也跟著往新商業熱區移動，導致各地區市中心逐一漸漸轉移、原有市中心區域也隨著時間與空間的變化漸漸沒落與老舊、展現真實生活的街道逐漸混亂失去活力，而本研究在經過分析後將選擇台中中區作為案例。
首先，本研究經過以下三種都市尺度的理論回顧與分析後，進而嘗試提出一以人為本、多樣化、有趣的街道生活形式與設計策略：
1.大都會區-以緊密城市理論的角度點出都市現有問題與分析整體都市規劃的發展與目標 2.當地區域-以發展步行城市為目標，分析基地周遭範圍區域其街廓大小形式、混合用途與大眾交通現況，進而探討此區域的可步行性 3.街道-從三種空間形式：個體、個體之間、群體，分析此一街道空間組成
接續，本研究將透過實地調查觀察紀錄後，剖析中區第二市場其真實街道生活的家具單元物件與使用情形，再者，由此真實現況透過轉化與設計，將零碎且混亂的街道元素、街道空間個體之間重新連結，構成一新開放的動態網絡，展現出舊城區街道生活的基本特質，活絡舊城區街道的生命與活力。

First of all, after the theoretical review and analysis of the following three urban scales, this research attempts to propose a people-oriented, diverse and interesting street life form and design strategy:
1. Metropolitan - from the perspective of compact city theory, point out the existing problems of the city and analyze the development and goals of the overall urban planning 2. Local - With the goal of developing a pedestrian city, analyze the size and shape of blocks, mixed use and public transportation status of the surrounding area of the site, and then indicate the walkability of this area 3.Street - From three spatial forms: individual, inter-individual, and group, analyze the composition of this street space
Then, this research will analyze the furniture unit objects and combinations of real street life in the second market of the Central District after on-the-spot investigation and observation records. Furthermore, through transformation and design, the real situation reconnects fragmented and chaotic street elements, street parts and parts to form a new open dynamic network, It shows the basic characteristics of street life in the old city, and activates the life and vitality of the streets in the old city.
