The Church of Halo
After the greening and space release of the old railway, the site which is the old community next to the railway has become another new zone of the city. The site at the turning point of the Green River is easier to be noticed because of the planning of the Taichung Overpass. The reinterpreted church space in Changchun Vil is here and combined with three apartment spaces, with a total of six floors.
Between the natural environment and the church space, the semi-outdoor space is used as a center of spatial functions to bring church activities closer to nature. The movement and the openings match with the physical environment is to play as an element of space expression to achieve the church symbol. The church space is connected to the rhythm of the natural environment.
