From Artefact Formation to Spatial Prototype｜Lacquerware
The first part of this design is to study from the techniques of lacquerware forming, and then collide with more architectural possibilities.
lacquerware is a traditional craft.First, Craftman use the layering of linen cloth and raw lacquer on top of the Soil model,Second, they using the tension of the cloth and the adhesiveness of the lacquer to form the coat.The last but not the least, after drying, the inner tube is removed, and the decorative crafts are applied after layer-by-layer grinding and smoothing.
In the later stage, certain important blocks in Taichung were selected, and we use EOTM to observe urban at each selected point, try to propose some principles under the urban operation.
