PARTIAL AND INTEGRAL-WUQI village community center
The site is located next to Shanshui Elementary School in Caonanli, Wuqi District, Taichung, and is located at the border of Taichung. Caonanli is like an island in Wuqi town, with only one external passage connecting the town. Walking into the community is like walking into the town. In the past rural areas, everything was so slow, yet so vast, wandering in the change between community scale and life...
I found that there are many medium spaces in towns, and these medium spaces attached to the main building can not only close the cracks between scales, but even become an inseparable part of the life cycle of residents.
I tried to translate the unique characteristics of the base into spatial operations, and stitched the relationship between local and foreign groups by adding the function of the bathhouse. I hope that people can freely travel back and forth in the building and feel the space between scales and between inside and outside.
