永樂上何圖_迪化街的弱工共空間

I’m interesting in the relationship between people, downtown and river in the painting “Along the River during the Qingming Festival”, WEAK, is my ideal public space. The weak is born because of STRONG, which means an absolute publicity (large, fracture, single and set good) in western culture.

Before the Song Dynasty, urban areas were divided into Squares and City, according to the checkboard planning; After the Square Wall fell, homeland and the river had become closer, while the market and street vendors were operating day and night. I captured examples and portrayals from the painting, approaching the WEAK PUBLIC that I propose.
The “River” also contains the street and life.
Viewing the depth of painting with nonlinear-scattered perspective.
Implying the overlooking height level through the bent picture.
WEAK PUBLIC: multi-function, uncertainty of space, flexible usage…
