From Artefact Formation to Spatial Prototype｜Kiln Ceramics
The design prototype was extracted by studying the crafting mechanism of Taichung culture preservation, and then the design was developed. The kiln ceramics process controls the characteristics of the firewood to form different surface colors, patterns and textures. The influencing factors of each style are related to both the position of adobe in the kiln and the path of fire flow.In the urban research, I framed the Dadu platform in Taichung as the site, and used random sampling to observe the military facilities, industrial landscapes, and neighboring facilities in the base as the main research objects.
