Air Corridor
Hong Kong is a crowded city, where people live between mountains and sea.Land is especially precious in Central, because it is an early development area, and also the main business center of Hong Kong. People develop special traffic grade separation, transportation is separated into air, ground and underground. The design is paying close attention to “Central Elevated Walkway” , which is in the air.Here, people walk above cars and between buildings.In this busy and packed city, pedestrians are squeezed into the Central Elevated Walkway. However the system is now messy and functionalized.Through design, the sky of Central is going to be reopened. New recreational spaces will be brought to the citizen’s daily life.
