The site is located in a traditional settlement in Wuqi District, Taichung Harbor, with industrial areas, old houses and modern residential buildings nearby. There are many boundary relationships between buildings of different natures, waterways and roads, sometimes blurred and sometimes clear.In the design of the community center, multiple boundary effects are placed, allowing users to shuttle between indoors and outdoors, and between old settlements and new communities. In terms of plan configuration, the bottom of the body is overhead, and the upper and lower floors are staggered and rotated to respond to the public nature of Shanshui Elementary School and Miaocheng.
