The place is a parking lot originally, with a temple of 'Tudi Gong' ( the lord of the land ) in the center, a basketball court and old trees beside the temple. The design brief asks for a social housing and a kindergarten are in this area simultaneously, also includes a road passing through. The social housing would play a crucial role in providing facilities for residents as well as public activities function for the neighborhood. The project attempts to preserve the original religion and activity function even the social housing was built. Determining the relationship with the context is essential.
